My First Visit
At A Honeycomb of Health, our goal is to make your first visit to our office a comfortable, and stress-free experience. Our care is tailored to each individual patient's needs and we look forward to discussing your unique case. We use a variety of treatment techniques and therapies, high quality nutritional supplements, exercise rehabilitation/therapy, and licensed massage therapists to help you achieve your health goals! Upon scheduling your first appointment, you will be asked to complete our required, online New Patient Intake Form before you arrive at our office.* The form will help us get to know you and shed light on any medical conditions you might be dealing with.
*Due to COVID-19 Safety Protocols, we cannot allow new patients to arrive early and sit in our waiting room while filling out the New Patient Intake Form. Please plan ahead and complete the form before your scheduled appointment time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
In the consultation, you'll meet Dr. Tina and talk over any body pains you might be experiencing or health goals you would like to achieve. It will allow you to get comfortable with the doctor, our office & staff while helping us determine if we can improve your condition, prior to accepting you as a patient and performing a full physical examination.
After reviewing the background information you provided on your New Patient Intake Form, including family medical history, any pre-existing medical conditions or prior injuries, and previous and current treatments provided by other health professionals, Dr. Tina will conduct a thorough chiropractic physical exam including general tests (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, reflexes, etc.) and more specific orthopedic and neurological tests if needed.
Based on the findings from your medical history, other information provided in the New Patient Intake Form, and physical examination, Dr. Tina will provide a specific diagnosis/report of findings. If she determines your condition will respond well to chiropractic care, she will create an individualized treatment plan for you and fully explain how your treatment will progress and the type of results you can expect.
In most cases, treatment will begin on your first visit immediately after the discussion of your diagnosis and treatment plan has concluded. Many patients will get relief on their very first adjustment while others may require multiple visits in order to achieve their desired level of relief. Based on your comfort level, Dr. Tina will use a variety of treatment and therapy modalities to help you achieve both your short and long-term health goals.
